Michael, was to be at our house at 4pm on Veterans day. We called Michael several different times to find out his location. My problem with Michael was IF WE hadn't made the phone call to him to find out where he was and the reasoning for tardiness, we would have never known. He made no attempt to call us to prepare us for his late arrival. I understand there was traffic, I also know that almost everyone in the state of Florida has a cell phone.
My response: I pride myself on being on time and with over 6 years in business and over 500 happy couples I was very upset when my day started running late after my first appointment. This was Veterans day AND 11-11-11 : thus I was busy. Not an excuse by any means; just a reason. I gave a discount of over $100 for this wedding.

My husband and I were married by Michael Scaliantine on October 1st, 2011 and we were very happy with the services provided. Michael made selecting our vows super easy with his online vow selection tool and always made himself available to us with any questions we may have. All of his services were seemless, from the wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and managing our marriage license, he was always on time, and very professional. He also has a great personality, making it more personable and fun on our wedding day. We woud highly recommend Michael Scaliantine to any of our friends and family.

Michael of Jaxx Premiere Weddings was wonderful to work with! He showed the upmost professionalism and knowledge at his work. Because we are from NC and got Married in FL, he was able to tell us in detail how to go about the legalities of the wedding that we were not aware of. Michael did a wonderful job! He was very professional over the phone, through emails and in person. He performed the ceremony beautifully. Our services were run very professionally. Everything we asked for, we got ten fold. Michael was very professional and caring and spoke very clearly. He helped me get through the ceremony, and even helped on getting some of the supplies to certain people. I would recommend him to ANYONE.

My husband and I planned a destination wedding from Indiana to Florida 0n 10-10-10. I found Jax notary online. Michael, you were the easiest part of the entire process. If everyone was as organized as you all weddings would be stress free. It is hard for me to make a decision on anything and your vow site made it so easy to choose from as well as to customize. We were greatful for your keepsake vows, professionalism, organization, great speaking voice and fabulous sense of humor. Michael was the most helpful person in making our wedding what we envisioned. We had a destination wedding, so we were 9 hours away from home. Michael was extremely flexible in meeting us just two days before the wedding, and moving our meeting around when we were running late. It was so stressful planning a wedding from out of state, but after meeting Michael and having him explain to us and make sure everything ran smoothly for the ceremony I was no longer stressed. He made sure all the ceremony details were worked out and everyone knew what was going to happen, even without a rehearsal. Because of Michael I was able to enjoy the ceremony and feel relaxed that everything was going to be handled. He was able to answer all the questions we have and ones that we didn’t know we had. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and we would highly recommend him to anyone! He was a big part in making our day amazing!

Wondeful to work with. Every time we met with Michael, he was always in a good mood and able to make us laugh. You can tell he truly loves what he does. We actually wanted a friend of ours to perform the ceremony who wasn't ordained, and Michael made it work. At the rehearsal, Mike walked our friend through everything he'd need to know to help the ceremony run smoothly. During the ceremony, Mike just sat in the audience, and then discreetly pulled us aside afterwards to say the few things back and forth "to make it legal". Then he took care of all the paper work. The official marriage license had already arrived by mail by the time we returned from our honeymoon a week later. He also provided a beautiful keepsake of the vows for us, despite not receiving the final copy till 2 days beforehand. In summary, he was very professional, adaptable, and yet still a lot of fun.
JaxPremiereWeddings response: The wonderful thing about being an officiant in Florida..... the law says I MUST do a ceremony; it does not limit me to what a ceremony is. The simple "pulled us aside" ceremony (as mentioned above) is sometimes the most beautiful... Thank YOU for letting me be part of your wonderful day.

Michael was and amazing afficiate. My husband is in the Military and I had to change the date 3 times. Michael was flexible and really helped to lessen the stress when I was battling getting venue approval and my husband in town. He was so understanding. Michael was the most helpful officiant I could have ever asked for! When I got to my reception site everything was going wrong and Michael was there to help me out and calm me down! We weren't exactly sure what we wanted for our ceremony and Michael had some really good ideas. He isn't just going to marry you and then leave, he gives you a ton of information about your upcoming wedding, name change information, how to write your own vows, etc. He is very professional and I would highly recommend using him as your officiant. He's also very funny!

All me and my wife can say is that we were pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and intimate manner in which Michael organized our special day. We were both clueless as to what to expect only going by instinct perusing website after website for our perfect officiant. Luckily my wife came across Micheal's site and decided to take a leap into the unknown. From all the communication being mainly via email / phone, Michael kept to all his commitments following up with us immediately and ensuring our comfort that our day would be 'perfect'. As each day passed, closer and closer to our wedding day; Michael left little work for us to do and took full control reaching out to our wedding coordinator and providing a checklist of 'wedding to-dos' for us to complete. With a close eye on the calendar each day seemed to pass with a single breath but we were rest assured we had Michael to see us through seamlessly without fail our moment would be perfect. On the day of our wedding, Michael showed up promptly and worked in tandem with our wedding coordinator going above and beyond what was originally expected out of his services. Our family and friends were surprised with the quality of work Michael reserved for us. After the wedding, Michael submitted all paperwork involved to ensure our wedding was notarized and filed expeditiously. Within 2 weeks, we received our wedding license as promised. We would recommend Michael's services to anyone without hesitation. If you are looking for your expectations in service to be surpassed, we will stand by Michael 110% he will assure your needs are met.

We found Michael through a search on google about a week from when we wanted to get married. He called us back promptly and helped us schedule our wedding out on the beach. Michael was great! He was professional, organized, informative, and always on time. He was also extremely kind, funny, and laid back, which was perfect for a beach wedding. Michael was not only professional, knowledgeable, and friendly he was extremely flexible. During the ceremony (it was an outside ceremony) the unity candles blew out. Michael whispered quietly to me that we would conduct it inside at the reception. The ceremony proceeded smoothly without a glitch and Michael STAYED 45 MINUTES (after his contracted time) to conduct the unity candle ceremony inside. How awesome is that? He made me feel stress free the day of and made us all laugh (well needed) at the rehearsal. He even wore cowboy boots during the ceremony because my fiancee was going to wear them. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with Michael. BOOK HIM! It was the best investment for our day.

Michael was a great wedding officiant!! He was a great compromise to our religious needs of meeting in the middle of presbyterian and catholic for Dec of 2008!! He always returned emails and phone calls and always answered any questions that we had for our ceremony!! He arranged our ceremony with the prayers and words we wanted to be done and it turned out beautifully!! We received many compliments on the words!! The ceremony turned out wonderful and he even had some great and funny picture ideas for our photographer that turned out awesome!! There were a few scheduling problems at times for meetings but he always called us in advanced and managed to arrange it to our needs, and he wasn't able to make it to the rehearsal due to his family emergency but luckily he had given us a copy of the ceremony and we were able to have a stand in reader but he did compensate us for the loss by refunding us our deposit back to our credit card!! So the issue was resolved without any hassle and he was very apologetic!! I would recommend Michael and his company to do any service for anyone out there looking for an easy and stress free way to have a wedding ceremony!!

I found JaxNotary online after looking at many sites in Jacksonville, FL. I was pleased to see that I could speak with Michael before purchasing any services. He helped me pick the ceremony that best suited my needs. Since I am located in another city I was unfamiliar with the area, Michael recommended a beautiful beach area. He even sent pictures for me to see the area first. On the big day Michael was there before we were ( and we were there 45 mins early) which was such a pleasant surprise. Michael was really early to our wedding, so early he was nice enough to wait so we could get our wedding pictures first. The ceremony was done with a lot of heart and soul, and we had a wonderful time with him. Michael was professional, fun, and an excellent resource for things like name changes and what to do at the SS office. He virtually did more than half the work for us and for a very fare price. We contacted Michael to perform our ceremony, at the beach. We had to move the ceremony inside because of rain. Michael worked with us to relocate and we probably had a better ceremony and celebration! I contacted JaxNotary to arrange a quick and simple wedding. Michael returned my web inquiry with an email the same day and a follow-up call the next. We put together a simple ceremony on the beach in just a couple of hours. Couldn't have been happier with the service. The ceremony was reviewed and finalized, location and time selected.
